46 million Australian banknotes printed with a spelling mistake

6 Million bank notes in Australia have been printed with a spelling mistake.
The mistake has been found on Australia’s new $50 bill which was introduced last October.
One side of the bill depicts Edith Cowan, the first woman to serve in Australia’s parliament. Beside her image is small text of her first speech in parliament.
It is in this small text that the spelling mistake occurs. They spelt responsibility as responsibilty!
“It is a great responsibilty to be the only woman here, and I want to emphasise the necessity which exists for other women being here,”
The misspelling occurs three times on the note.
The mistake was spotted by a listener of Australian radio station Triple M, who sent a zoomed-in picture of the note to the radio station.
